**JERRY VAUGHN LIFE STORY**  

**Jerry L. Vaughn** is a native of Laurel, Mississippi, whose life has been shaped by a deep dedication to praising and worshiping his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. From a young age, Jerry’s path was guided by faith, with his mother, Louise. “God spoke through a prophet and said this young man will be recording and creating music one day.” Those words proved true, as Jerry went on to embrace his calling, writing and recording songs that touch hearts and inspire souls.  

Jerry’s musical journey didn’t begin solely with his mother’s encouragement.  but with his father, who also played a pivotal role. The anointing of God flowed through their music, often igniting the congregation in worship. The spirit-filled performances of “Mama Lou” and her exhortations to “set them on fire” became the foundation of Jerry’s ministry, blending family tradition with divine inspiration.  

Jerry Vaughn’s career reached new heights in 2019 when he released his album *Truly Blessed*, showcasing his talent as both a songwriter and a recording artist. His music reflects his unwavering faith and gratitude, offering messages of hope and devotion.  

In addition to his musical accomplishments, Jerry is a proud member of the Northern Covington County Association, furthering his commitment to worship and community. As an entrepreneur and artist, he remains grounded in his roots, fully aware of where he comes from and who he is singing for. His life story is one of faith, family, and fulfillment of purpose.
